Review: Rush Too Far by Abbi Glines

Everyone in Rosemary Beach thinks they know how Rush Finlay and Blaire Wynn fell in love. But Rush is back to tell his side of the story...

Rush has earned every bit of his bad-boy reputation. The three-story beach house, luxury car, and line of girls begging for time between his sheets are the envy of every guy in Rosemary Beach, and Rush handles it all with the laid-back cool of a rock star’s son. All he needs are his best friend, Grant, and his sister, Nan.

Until Blaire Wynn drives into town in her beat-up pickup truck with a pistol under her seat. The Alabama farm girl instantly captures Rush’s attention once he discovers that the angelic beauty is his new stepsister, but he vows to keep his distance. Even if she needs his help. Even if he craves her.

Because Rush knows why Blaire is all alone in the world, forced to ask for help from the father who abandoned her three years ago. And he knows if he gets too close it will destroy Nan, who has a secret connection to Blaire.

He has every reason in the world to stay away from her. Find out why he doesn’t.

I was so excited to hear about this book. I was always wondering what Rush was thinking in Fallen Too Far and let me tell you, it was worth the wait.

Rush was so great in this installment. Readers were really left in the dark in Fallen Too Far so it was nice to be in the know and recognize why Rush did what he did. He was amazing and so sweet and he really does so much for Blaire that she never knew he did. And my goodness he is so sexy!

I loved seeing Blaire from his eyes. She is so innocent and good and she is such a bright light in Rush’s life. She was so nice to everyone and I just don’t get how anyone could hate her. Her life was so tragic but she didn’t let that stop her from living the life she wanted and being so strong.

The plot was something I’ve read before but there were new scenes that clearly weren’t in Fallen Too Far. I loved Rush’s point of view. The romance and their chemistry is so explosive! I loved reading the beginnings of their sexy times from Rush’s POV. He’s a dirty talker!

If you love Abbi’s Rosemary Beach series, you’ll adore this one! #RushCrushForever

Favorite Swoon-worthy Quote: I had to taste her. I couldn’t control myself. We were alone and too close, and she smelled like heaven. I had expected Blaire to fight me, but she melted into me so easily. I took what I could while she was still too shocked to slap me. Her mouth moved under mine, and I licked at the swell of her bottom lip.
Rush Too Far (Rosemary Beach, #1.1; Too Far, #1.1)
